This is a fairly unremarkable addition to the P&P chain. There is little of interest that happens here. However, where this pub really excels is as a consistent alehouse in an inconsistent area (Soho). It is also an excellent meeting point for large groups - this probably explains the lack of interesting happenings, as the clientele is largely transient in nature. Reasonably busy when we were there, music was quite loud. There are far better pubs in the area, and there are far worse as well - all in all a kind of 'play it safe' pub.

How to find the Pitcher & Piano pub

From Oxford Street: turn into Dean St, the PandP is about half way down. It is the one with the big white faade. From Tottenham Court Road tube station: head towards Soho Square, down Greek Street, turn right onto Old Compton Street, keep going, turn into Dean Street.
